Performance
The 2027 Lexus TZ is offered with two dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrains. The Lexus TZ 450e makes 313 horsepower, while the Lexus TZ 550e produces 402 horsepower. Both models feature the Lexus DIRECT4® all-wheel-drive system, while available Dynamic Rear Steering™ helps improve low-speed maneuverability and high-speed stability.
Towing and Cargo Volume
When properly equipped, the new Lexus TZ can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Its dedicated electric platform provides a flat floor and a spacious three-row layout with flexible cargo configurations accommodating 20.2 to 97.0 cubic feet. This ensures it's well-suited for family road trips, errands, and recreational gear.
Range and Charging
This new Lexus EV is capable of a manufacturer-estimated driving range of up to 300 miles. The Lexus TZ also supports DC fast charging at up to 150 kW, allowing approximately a 10% to 80% charge in about 35 minutes under ideal conditions. Additional EV features include battery preconditioning, intelligent charging scheduling, and a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port for expanded public charging access.
