Pleasant Hill Lanes
Pleasant Hills is a tradition in Wilmington. They’ve been part of our city for over sixty years and are still one of the friendliest alleys around. They have 24 lanes which are meticulously maintained, and the friendly behavior of the staff is infectious. It’s a great place to bowl, whether you’re practicing, competing, or just having fun.
They have a small snack bar with good food. We recommend getting the mozzarella sticks, as they’re amazing. Their pro shop has a wide selection of equipment, balls, and shoes. They’re also an excellent venue for children’s or company parties. Pleasant Hills is located at 1001 W Newport Pike.
Main Event Newark
This bowling alley opened in 1998 and has been drawing crowds ever since. Their alley is state-of-the-art and also features laser tag, gravity ropes, video games, and billiards. You can book any of these activities individually, but you get a deep discount on a combined ticket. The alley has excellent background music, high enough to hear easily, but you can still talk with people.
They have a dining area where you can get fresh pizza, chicken wings, burgers, and other comfort food. Main Event is an entertainment experience all by itself. They are located at 2900 Fashion Center Boulevard, Newark.
